The Ark of the Covenant is a revered artifact in Jewish, Christian, and Islamic lore. As described in the Bible, it is a wooden chest clad in gold, containing the two tablets of the Ten Commandments, Aaron's rod, and a pot of manna. The Ark is said to represent God's presence with the Israelites, and its history is filled with tales of wonder and divine wrath. It was kept in the Holy of Holies, the inner sanctuary of the Tabernacle and later the Temple in Jerusalem, and its current whereabouts are unknown, leading to much speculation and mystery.
